What we collect
Eventually, Dinner. may collect information you provide directly, including account information, email address, household settings, food preferences, recipes you save or import, meal plans, pantry and grocery information, shopping preferences, and information you send through support or contact forms. We may also receive technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Dinner-planning app data
The Eventually Dinner app uses your household preferences, saved recipes, plans, feedback, grocery lists, pantry information, and related history to provide planning, recipe, shopping, and household-sharing features. Imported recipes may include the source URL and recipe content needed to save and organize the recipe.
Location and restaurant discovery
If you choose to use nearby restaurant discovery, the app may request device location so it can find restaurants near you. Location access is optional and is used for the feature you requested. Where available, you may use a manually selected location instead of device location.
Google Calendar
If you connect Google Calendar, the app may use calendar availability and event timing to help identify busy, late, away, or dinner-event nights. Calendar access is optional. When event-title sharing is disabled, the planner is intended to use timing and busy/free information rather than event titles. You can disconnect calendar access through the applicable account or integration settings.
Household sharing
If you join a shared household, household members may be able to view and update shared planning information such as recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, pantry items, and preferences. If you later delete your account, shared household data may remain available to the other members while your account access and membership are removed.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the website and app, provide meal planning and recipe features, support household collaboration, generate grocery and restaurant suggestions, send communications you requested, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and understand product performance. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
Newsletter subscriptions are managed with Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. Operational email may be handled through our domain email provider or service providers used to operate the app.
Third-party services
Eventually, Dinner. may use third-party services for hosting, authentication, analytics, email, calendar connections, restaurant discovery, recipe-source retrieval, maps, and shopping handoff. Those providers process information as needed to provide their functions and operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
The website may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, preferences, fraud prevention, and advertising. Google and other advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, subject to your available consent and privacy choices. Where required, a consent-management message may be shown before applicable advertising technologies are used.
Your choices and account deletion
You can unsubscribe from marketing email, decline optional location access, choose whether to connect Google Calendar, and adjust household or food preferences in the app. Registered app users can permanently delete their account from Settings → Account & privacy. If you are the only member of a household, its private planning data is deleted with the account. If a household is shared, collaborative household data may remain for the people who still belong to that household.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, account operation, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Eventually, Dinner. is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
